Before you contact us

Most issues can be resolved quickly by checking the following:

  • Make sure you're running the latest version of Kairo from the App Store.
  • Check that notifications are enabled for Kairo in your iPhone Settings.
  • Confirm that Do Not Disturb and Focus modes aren't blocking alarm alerts.
  • If photo validation fails, try a well-lit room and hold your phone steady.
  • For subscription issues, make sure you're signed in to the correct Apple ID.

Frequently asked questions

Create an alarm inside the app, choose your wake-up time, pick a wake mission, and save it. Kairo schedules the alarm locally on your device.

When an alarm rings, Kairo asks you to take a photo for the mission you chose. The image is checked in real time by AI to confirm you're awake, and is not stored afterward.

Validation uses AI to confirm you completed the mission. Make sure the photo is well-lit, in focus, and clearly shows what's required. Blurry, dark, or unrelated photos will be rejected — try again in a brighter spot.

Kairo relies on iOS alarms and notifications. Make sure notifications are enabled for Kairo, Do Not Disturb isn't active, and your device isn't in Low Power Mode. Also check that the alarm is toggled on in the app.

Open your iPhone Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select Kairo, and make your change. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.

In the app, use “Restore Purchases” on the paywall or settings screen while signed in to the Apple ID that made the purchase.

Kairo has social features. Use the report or block option on a user's profile or on a feed item. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours.

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account. Your account and associated data are removed within 30 days.

System requirements

  • iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later.
  • Camera access for photo-based wake missions.
  • Notification permission for alarm delivery.
  • An internet connection for photo validation and account sync.

Manage or cancel your subscription

Kairo subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Apple. To view, change, or cancel your plan:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
  3. Select Kairo to manage or cancel your plan.

Refund requests are handled by Apple through their “Report a Problem” page or the App Store. Kairo does not process billing or refunds.

Report content, block users, or delete your account

To report objectionable content or abuse, or to block someone, use the report and block options in the app — we act on reports within 24 hours. To remove your account and data, go to Settings → Delete Account.
