Before you contact us
Most issues can be resolved quickly by checking the following:
- Make sure you're running the latest version of Kairo from the App Store.
- Check that notifications are enabled for Kairo in your iPhone Settings.
- Confirm that Do Not Disturb and Focus modes aren't blocking alarm alerts.
- If your photo isn't accepted, try a brighter spot and hold your phone steady.
- For steps, sleep, or runs, make sure Kairo is allowed to read that data from Apple Health.
- For subscription issues, make sure you're signed in to the correct Apple ID.
Frequently asked questions
Kairo is where you build daily habits with your friends. You pick a habit, prove it every day with a photo, and your friends see it. Most habits die because you're doing them alone. You don't need more discipline. You need witnesses.
Yes. Kairo is free. Kairo Gold is an optional monthly or yearly subscription that adds unlimited friends, seeing who viewed your posts, posting photos from your gallery, and more. Prices vary by country and are shown in the app.
Each habit comes with its own way to prove it. For most, you take a photo in the moment: push-ups, reading, your made bed, your plate. AI checks the photo before it counts, and then your friends see it. Steps, sleep, and runs are read from Apple Health, and screen time from your iPhone.
AI checks that the photo shows what the habit or alarm mission asks for. Make sure it's well-lit, in focus, and clearly shows what's required. Blurry, dark, or unrelated photos will be rejected. Try again in a brighter spot.
Your friends see the proofs you post, including the photo from an alarm mission. If you choose to post to the world in Discover, your habit posts also appear on the globe for anyone on Kairo, placed near a city in your time zone, never at your exact location. Chat is only between friends.
On purpose. A small circle is what makes people post the real photo instead of the good one. With Kairo Gold, there's no limit.
Create an alarm inside the app, choose your wake-up time, pick a wake mission, and save it. Kairo schedules the alarm locally on your device.
Kairo relies on iOS alarms and notifications. Make sure notifications are enabled for Kairo, Do Not Disturb isn't active, and your device isn't in Low Power Mode. Also check that the alarm is toggled on in the app.
Open your iPhone Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select Kairo, and make your change. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Nothing changes until you cancel. Weekly, monthly, and annual plans bought before keep renewing through Apple, and you can cancel anytime in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kairo.
In the app, go to Settings → Account and tap Restore Purchases, or tap it on the Kairo Gold screen. Use the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
Every post and every profile has Report and Block. Open the menu on the post or profile and pick one. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours.
Open the app, go to Settings → Account, and tap Delete Account. Your account and associated data are removed within 30 days.
System requirements
- iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later.
- Camera access to prove habits with a photo and for alarm missions.
- Notification permission for alarm delivery.
- An internet connection to check and post photos, see your friends, and sync your account.
- Apple Health access (optional) for step, sleep, and run habits.
Manage or cancel your subscription
Kairo subscriptions, including Kairo Gold, are billed and managed entirely through Apple. To view, change, or cancel your plan:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select Kairo to manage or cancel your plan.
Refund requests are handled by Apple through their “Report a Problem” page or the App Store. Kairo does not process billing or refunds.
Report content, block users, or delete your account
To report objectionable content or abuse, or to block someone, use Report or Block on any post or profile. We act on reports within 24 hours. To remove your account and data, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
